May kicked off with Melissa & Sam's wedding at Bartle Hall. I was really looking forward to this wedding as it was my first visit to Bartle Hall but also because I had known Melissa & Sam for about a year and a half after meeting them at another wedding, and they had also had a dog photography session (I also photograph dogs as well as weddings).
I love when we get around May as there is a chance we may start to get some decent weather and it did not disappoint for Melissa & Sam as the sun was out, allowing all there guests to soak in the sun during the wedding reception.
I spent the morning with Melissa and her wedding squad, really nice chilled out morning as they were getting ready. I love getting in capturing the prep and having a natter to get to know some of the wedding party. They got ready in Thicket Lodge which is nicely tucked away on the Bartle Hall's ground allowing Melissa and her team to get ready in comfort with no chance of anyone getting a sneaky peek before the ceremony.
Bartle Hall's wedding team are absolutely brilliant, a smooth running day with no stresses. Big shoutout to Taylor at Bartle Hall who assisted in the bar shot, which can be viewed in the images below. As well as being a stunning wedding venue, they have several separate areas for getting ready, the ceremony / drinks reception which means no time is wasted waiting for rooms to be turned around allowing your day to run smooth.
Thank you so much Melissa & Sam for being a dream to work for and allowing me to have the honour of capturing your special day. Here are some of my favourites from their day.
